Swimsuit

My day started well.....I put on my swimsuit to go to the pool and the clip in the back which holds it together BROKE! AUGHHH!! Not a great start to the day because now I need another swim suit. Unlike most people I only own one swim suit at a time, so I did not have another I could just jump into. I ended up getting a cute swimsuit after two hours of shopping. I will be glad when next summer comes and I can really enjoy shopping...FABULOUS!
After my shopping I was very thirsty and went through Chick-filet for a water and low and behold I found I can drink their diet lemonade...WOWSERS! It is made with water, lemon and splenda. I was very excited, although I think I will stick with my water and lemons without any sweetner. :) I also discover this very polite young boy working the drive through. With a smile, I said, "You don't look old enough to work here." He proudly said, "I am." With his chest held high he smiled & announced," I am 14 years old." I could not believe you can work here in Texas at age 14. I thought it was very cool and I told him, (Chad) He did an excellent job.
I put on my new swim suit and away I went to the cool water. I met a fabulous christian gal. Her name is Kerrie and we talked about all kinds of things. The best was talking about our relationship with the Lord. We exchanged phone numbers and plan on going to the lake in the evenings to walk and chat. I am very excited to get to know her and her relationship with Jesus.
I finally had a salad tonight. It was AWESOME! I savored every bite,(which was not many), but oh, was it good. I enjoyed it and it seem to settle well with me for now.
I hope to blog soon. It is coming up the holiday and I will be traveling. I f you miss a fabulous blog don't fret because this fabulous city chic will be back before you know it.
