Fun in the sun!

I enjoyed a lovely afternoon (into the evening) next to and inside the pool. Of course my body is begging for rehydration since the sun soaked all I had out. :)
I met a new lady today while I was there and we talked for two hours (imagine that.:) I really enjoyed visiting and we talked about Jesus and life. I experienced her as being a little defensive when I mentioned being a Christian and living for Jesus. She started to explain the theolosism to me and things she believed. I explained the love of Jesus and what He wanted for us. I talked about a few verses in the bible and she had no clue what I was talking about yet every time I mentioned a verse she would start talking about their traditions and mass. For example crossing your mind, mouth and heart. She proceeded to tell me it is so the Lord will bless your mind, mouth and heart. I asked where in the bible that Jesus asks us to do this and she could not tell me. I explained to her any time she wants to talk to Jesus and pray for blessings she can and we do not have to cross everything. It was pretty challenging talking with her because, yes she is very knowledgeable about the theolosism and traditions but not so much about what the Lord tells us, which you can find in only one book...the Holy Bible. I look forward to being an example, loving her where she is and talking more about God's word.

I enjoyed a yummy fresh fruit smoothie this afternoon. It was pineapple, mango, banana and something else...I can't seem to remember, but oh...I remember how fabulously tasty it was!
I think I will straighten up a couple of hot spots tonight. The cleaner your house is usually the happier you are and more energised you are. My friend Holly and her two girls are coming over tomorrow for another day of fun in the sun. I am very excited! I had a fabulous afternoon and look forward to tomorrow to see what the Lord has in store for me.

Christina, I'm so proud of to hear of your testimony to someone. Revealing God's Will and Word through our actions (language included) is such a wonderful blessing, and always alows Him to Glorify Himself through us! :)
